The Everyday Hero pin was born to support at-risk women and children across North America who continue to be in urgent need as the pandemic wears on. We called it the Everyday Hero pin because it represents the cycle of support so necessary during this time as we continue to hold one another up while not being able to be physically together. The pin and its colours represent optimism, unity and love. JENNY BIRD is donating 100% of net proceeds from the pin sales to the YWCA, to provide emergency support to women and their children whose health and safety are at risk during this time. The proceeds will help YWCA Canada to provide safe and secure housing accommodations, food supplies, transportation to flee from unsafe environments and technology to help communicate with YWCA staff and search for jobs.
